A few days ago I posted a demo of the Flutter IDE I’ve been building for Android, showing it running an app on a phone over wireless debugging. Well… it now goes a bit further. I managed to record the full workflow of: creating/editing a Flutter app building it directly on the Android tablet deploying the Flutter web build to the cloud opening the live deployed site No laptop, remote PC or cloud build machine involved. The IDE is called Pocket Forge . The goal is basically to see how close I can get to a proper Flutter development environment running completely on an Android tablet. It’s still very much a developer preview and there are plenty of rough edges, but getting from source code to an actually deployed app entirely on the tablet feels like a pretty big milestone.
