Original Summary
I have been working on an e-commerce website builder for over 7 years and built way more than I initially intended. I surpassed competitors in the key metrics that were my goal, such as site optimization score and max SKUs per product. I have a feature list that would cost over $500 on Shopify to put together with apps, and yet on Shopify you get poor performance and poor coordination between features. In my app it's all synced, styled and built in - users don't have to patch anything. Yet I can't stop adding features to finalize the SaaS product and start advertising. I need advice on when it's enough and when I should stop adding features. Here are some of the features I have built: Site navigation organization with easy drag-and-drop pages in a page organizer. Per-page structure by adding horizontally stacked components one after another, or by just picking a template per page. Styles, fonts, colors and dark/light contrast set at the theme level, with customization at the component level. Form data collection. AI input injectors enabled at every input - builders can purchase AI credits and generate text, images, sounds/music/songs and videos to decorate the site or its metadata, such as SEO. Sites are automatically SEO optimized and currently get Google PageSpeed scores above 95 - target is 99+. Multi-SKU physical and digital product creation. Max SKUs per product were load-tested at 20k; the current safe cap is 5k per product. A price system that allows one-time prices, subscription prices, or both. A cart where users can add one-time and subscription items and check out all at once. An order refund system where builders can refund any order fully or partially. Support system - fast socket-based streaming messaging. Ticket creation and resolution. Users report to builders, builders can escalate to the platform admin. Physical products still lack shipping provider integration. Digital products are fully tuned - simultaneous, resumable multi-file uploads of up to 32GB. Files can be public or restricted to logged-in users only. Each SKU can have multiple files attached. Abandoned cart recovery emails. Product reviews, with import and export. Product importer - can import up to 5k products from Shopify CSV format. Product export and download. Builders own their data - they can create a new Stripe account or just connect an existing one. Strong account security for both builders and their users. MFA with email, SMS, authenticator and passkey. Can be set per site as disabled, optional or required. Printify integration - builders can create multi-SKU products in Printify and sync them into the site. They stay linked and update automatically if Printify changes prices. Auto or manual profit margin settings and more. AI agent composer - available on every tier, including free. Builders need AI credits to run agents, and for their end users' AI usage the builder decides: either cover it with a monthly limit or let users pay for it t
