Original Summary
I just started a one-month paid trial in a growth/product role at a startup. Blunt deal: if my experiments move retention and conversion, it turns into a longer contract. If not, it ends when the trial does. I've spent week one mapping the onboarding and paywall flow, and I've got a backlog of ideas: a goal-question right after signup that routes users to a personalized first action, moving the paywall after the user's first real "aha" moment instead of before it, and personalizing paywall copy to what they said their goal was. What I don't have is experience prioritizing under a hard deadline like this. - With one month and a score based purely on shipped experiments, how would you pick which 2-3 to run first? - Anyone actually shipped the "one onboarding question routes to a personalized first action" pattern? What worked? - Any other advices for a young growth hire? I’ll appreciate every advice. Thank you guys! submitted by /u/Careful-Fly7695 [link] [comments]
