Original Summary
I’d love some brutally honest advice from other SaaS founders. We’ve built a SaaS platform that lets businesses create and deploy AI employees for things like: Customer support Lead qualification Sales conversations Booking & appointment handling Follow-ups General business communication The idea is that instead of just having an AI chatbot, a business can configure an AI employee with a specific role, knowledge, instructions and integrations, and let it handle actual workflows. The product is live and usable. We’ve spent a lot of time building the actual infrastructure, integrations and functionality. The problem: we have almost no users. And honestly, I think this is where we need to stop hiding behind product development and figure out distribution. We’ve tried the usual things: website, social media, outreach, directories, etc. But nothing has really translated into consistent users. So I’m curious: If you were in our position today, with a functioning SaaS product but almost no users, what would you focus on for the next 30–60 days? Would you: Pick one very specific niche and go all-in? Do founder-led cold outreach? Offer a free tier / heavily discounted early access? Focus on partnerships/resellers? Build in public? Forget marketing for a moment and manually onboard the first 10–20 customers? Something completely different? And perhaps more importantly: How did you personally get your first 10 paying SaaS customers? I’m not looking for generic “post on social media” advice. I’d genuinely like to hear what actually worked for people who have been through the zero-users stage. Happy to share more about the product/stack/target market if useful. submitted by /u/polyosync [link] [comments]
