Original Summary

My 5 year old daughter kept asking for games with very specific things in them - a unicorn who plays soccer, a lemur who steals glitter (from unicorns), a unicorn maze game etc. Everything I found online for little kids was one of three things: cluttered with ads, loud garish graphics, or just boring. So I thought, I may as well give it a go with Claude. I'm a finance guy, not a developer - I describe what we want, Claude writes the code, and my daughter tests it (brutally). We were both genuinely delighted with how the first game came out, so we kept going. The best surprise: my son, who's 2 and a half, now happily plays some of them too. He's obsessed with trains and helicopters, so Chomper's Choo-Choo Express and Whirlybird Rescue are his favourites. 10 games later, they're all on one site: lylarosegames.com What we stuck to: Free, no ads, no pop-ups, no in-game purchases, no sign-ups, no chat Soft colours and gentle sounds - fun without being overwhelming Big buttons and simple controls that little hands can manage Works in the browser on phones, iPads and computers, nothing to download Her ideas and her character names (Lenny the Lemur, Chomper the dinosaur, Blossom the Bunnycorn...) Would love feedback, especially from anyone with little ones. Which game did they go back to, and what should we make next? submitted by /u/Coolcato [link] [comments]
