Hi all. So I have several apps, desktop and mobile, some of them in App Store and some in Windows Store. And I faced with the problem that users really dont want to leave reviews, especially in Windows Store. I mean I can understand it, if app just works and nothing annoys you, you just use it and thats it, you leave review only if you super love the app. But bad review on rage people leave very easy. So if your app is normal, most probably most of your reviews will be bad ones. And when app is just released and has zero reviews its very hard to break through at all. And what annoys me. All stores say you can't incentivize reviews, ok. But in reality some people have lots of friends and big family who help them at least on launch. And what if you don't have big family and friends and you are alone? Then you are in worse conditions from the start, and I really don't like it. I was searching for some normal service I could trust for this and didn't find. So I made it myself. The main thing for me was trust, like what if the person who rates you just puts 1 star for nothing. So there are only verified apps, you put a one-time file on the website from your store listing, and this is by design, you can't fake it. So the one who rates you is the same developer like you, with his own real app and his reputation there, not some random account. And nobody can demand specific rating, you try the app and rate it honestly. Also you can't farm reviews there. For every review you get you have to review someone else's app yourself, and there are limits, so hundreds of reviews you won't get. I kinda stole the feed from dating apps, you see one app at a time and press skip or send request. First you see devs who are online now, then who were active in last day etc. Request lives 10 minutes. If accepted you both have 1 hour to review each other and upload screenshot. Then you wait till the review appears in the store, complete the deal and put like or dislike (if you forget, after 7 days it completes automatically). So everyone sees how many deals person completed and his likes/dislikes. It's free, nobody pays anyone. The important part, exchanges are not open yet. It needs enough people in different stores and countries, otherwise it makes no sense. When there will be critical mass I will open it, and if you tick the email checkbox you will get notification that its ready. So I really hope for your support, it really needs people.
