The annoying part was never the limit itself. It was finding out in the middle of a refactor, then guessing which of my other accounts still had room. So I made Agent Cat. It sits in the macOS or Windows menu bar and shows usage and limits for the coding agents I use: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini/Antigravity, Grok, Kimi, Copilot, Cursor. What it does now: One ring per account, including several accounts on the same provider. Accounts show as a short hint, never the full email. 5-hour and 7-day windows tracked separately, with time until reset. When an account gets blocked, the alert names the account with the most room left. A 7-day token chart, and a dashboard with limits, trends and history. A phone app (iOS/Android) that shows remaining limits. How it counts: a small local connector reads the usage files the CLIs already write. No login, no cookies, no cloud calls to count usage, and it never reads prompts or transcripts. The connector source is public (source-available). It's free. There's no subscription.
