I've been working on Jelly , an open-source terminal built specifically for macOS. I wanted something that feels native to modern macOS while also making my terminal workflow a little less chaotic, especially when I have multiple projects and coding agents running at once. Some of the things currently in Jelly: Persistent sessions that restore your tabs and splits Tabs + unlimited horizontal/vertical splits Live file explorer that follows your current directory Detects coding agents like Claude Code and shows when they're working / waiting / done Built-in Markdown + code previewer Command palette and customizable keybindings Themes, Nerd Fonts, ligatures, custom shells/prompts Native macOS app rather than an Electron/web wrapper (<10MB) It's still early and I'm actively working toward v1.0, so there are definitely rough edges.
