Original Summary
I'm a dev. I can ship a SaaS in a few weeks I've built several: a B2B tool for companies and a management platform for restaurants. My problem: I build well and sell badly. I don't think like a founder yet. I think like an engineer who hopes the product will sell itself (it doesn't). So I'm giving myself €1,000 and 3 months to learn how to think and sell like a successful solo founder. If you were in my shoes, how would you split that budget? For example: A course or cohort (which one, and was it actually worth it?) Books (which 2–3 changed how you sell?) Paid calls with someone who's already done it Tools (CRM, cold email, LinkedIn…) Using it as a test budget: ads, a landing page, paying for 20 user interviews Or: "don't spend it, go do X instead" I'm most interested in specific breakdowns ("€300 on X because…, €0 on Y because…") and in hearing what you wasted money on . Bonus question: what's the one mindset shift that took you from "I build stuff" to "I sell stuff"? submitted by /u/Adorable-Plane7226 [link] [comments]
