I built a site for keeping track of bank bonuses and direct deposit data. Looking for honest feedback I’ve been opening checking accounts for signup bonuses for a while, and I kept running into the same problem: I’d have Doctor of Credit open, a spreadsheet for requirements/deadlines, and then a bunch of comments trying to figure out whether a certain ACH transfer had counted as direct deposit for other people. So I started building DealOS. Right now it lets you browse current offers, keep track of the ones you’re working on, and search historical DD reports by receiving bank and sending institution. The DD part is what I’m most interested in testing. There are about 5,700 historical observations in it right now, but they’re treated as user reports, not guarantees. It’s still an early beta and I know there are rough edges. You don’t need an account just to browse it, and I’m also working on making commenting/reporting usable without signup. I’d really appreciate honest feedback, especially: Is it obvious what the site does when you first open it? Does the DD evidence page make sense without explanation? What feels confusing or unnecessary? What would you actually want this to do before you’d use it instead of a spreadsheet? I built it, so feel free to be critical.
