took about three weeks. it moves photos, videos and files straight from one iphone to the one next to it. wifi has to be on but it doesn't have to be joined to anything, so airplane mode with wifi on works fine. your recent photos come up as a stack of cards and you flick one upward to send it. the constraint i set myself was no backend at all. no account, no sign in, nothing running anywhere, nothing to pay for monthly. which is great until you realise there's also no way to know if something's broken out there. no logs, no analytics, nothing. i genuinely don't know how many people have it open right now and i won't unless someone tells me. it strips gps out of photos before they leave too, and when it hits a file it can't clean it refuses to send at all rather than hand over where you live. oh and apple rejected the first submission. said the in app purchase couldn't be found in the binary. it was in the binary. the reviewer had tested on a single ipad air, and the app needs two iphones before it does anything at all, so they never got near the purchase screen. resubmitted with a screen recording of a sandbox purchase and it went through. lesson being if your thing needs two devices, write the review notes for someone holding one. free, iphone only, one time 4.99 if you need sends over 100mb https://apps.apple.com/app/id6812084606 anyway happy to answer anything   submitted by   /u/ahumanbeingmars [link]   [comments]
