Original Summary
Hi everyone, I've recently launched my first SaaS product, targeting UK professional services firms, primarily accountants, solicitors, tax advisers and compliance teams. The product automates company research and maps complex corporate ownership structures, potentially saving users around 2 hours per company lookup. We're charging £99/month per seat. My initial GTM strategy was organic LinkedIn outreach, but results have been underwhelming. I'm now looking to build a more systematic and scalable customer acquisition engine, potentially incorporating paid ads, where i can measure ROI and what's working and what's not. I'd really appreciate advice from founders and marketers who've successfully grown B2B SaaS products, particularly those targeting professional services. A few questions: Channels: Would you prioritise Google Search, LinkedIn Ads, cold email, partnerships or something else ? Budget: What would be a sensible initial monthly ad spend to test channels and establish a viable CAC? Messaging: How would you position a relatively niche product with a clear time-saving proposition GTM: What has actually worked for you in acquiring your first 50 to 100 paying B2B customers? I'm bootstrapping, so I'd rather run focused experiments than burn thousands on ads before establishing product-market fit. Particularly interested in hearing from anyone who's sold SaaS into UK accounting, legal or compliance firms. What would you do differently if you were starting again? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Extra-Yogurt-3129 [link] [comments]
