Original Summary
Hi! I just launched KreatInk, my first iOS app. It's a social drawing app built around one idea: once a day, you get a drawing prompt (a "dare"), and you draw it together with your friends. How it works: Daily dare: a new prompt every day. Draw it and see how your friends interpreted it. Groups: create your own group with friends and share your drawings there. Duo Draw: you and a friend each draw one half of the canvas without seeing the other half. The reveal at the end is always a surprise. Make It Worse: a telephone-style game. The first player sees the prompt and draws it, and everyone after them only sees the previous drawing and draws what they think it is. By the end, it's usually something completely different. It's free with ads. Premium removes ads and unlocks unlimited photo backgrounds for the daily dare (free users get one per week, plus a few extra by watching an ad). Where I'd love feedback: The cold start problem. The app is most fun with friends. How would you make it fun for someone who installs it alone? First impression. Is it clear from the App Store page what the app does? Monetisation. Does "one free photo background per week, unlimited with Premium" feel fair, or too restrictive? Built solo with SwiftUI + Supabase. It took two App Store rejections and a rename (it was called DoodleDare before I found out another app already had the name), but it's finally out. https://www.instagram.com/kreatinkapp/ https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kreatink/id6801625683 Thank you all!! If you join my drawing game, you can send me a friend request: FilPro See you there with your friend creating mayhem. submitted by /u/Phiond [link] [comments]
