Original Summary
As a preventive cardiologist, I see that many people fail to track their blood pressure. Tracking blood pressure is often more important than tracking heart rate. Even when people track BP, many fail to follow the appropriate steps or bring the necessary data to the clinic visit. The consistency and time spent at target levels are more important than the average reading. Based on the AHA/ACC 2025 guidelines, I created an instruction sheet for my patients which was later converted into an app. Current apps on the app store fail to track time in target, consistency and fail adhere to the updated ACC/AHA recommendations. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bp-log-track-blood-pressure/id6801130306 Android version is pending approval. Since this is a health app, it undergoes additional scrutiny on the app store. Benefits: - Just an average reading does not convey the complete story. Time in target is more important than the average reading. - Shareable reports are generated based on daily readings, trends etc. - You backup to your own iCloud and retain complete control over your data Website: https://bplog.cc Please COMMENT BELOW for a lifetime code. If you like the app, I would appreciate an App Store review. If you don't like it, I would appreciate feedback. submitted by /u/Impressive-Sir9633 [link] [comments]
