Every launch needed a video and using After Effects meant a drained weekend. Existing AI tools mean't like I am not in control, and prompting into a CLI just didn't feel right when you are working with video. GenMotion is a desktop studio built around a coding agent. You describe a launch video. The agent writes each scene as a React component. You scrub through it frame by frame, then export an MP4. Feedback isn't a reroll, it's a diff. Say "cut the intro to 2 seconds, use our brand green" and it just edits the file. The best part is remix. There are plenty of templates in the gallery, all real launch videos. Hit remix and the actual code lands in a folder on your machine, along with an AGENTS.md file that explains how that video was built. Your agent reads it. You say "same structure, our product, our copy." Now you have your own version. Forking something that already looks good beats starting from a blank canvas. Everything works within your machine, the app renders the frames using either of three engines you can pick from. Genmotion's in house react based engine (similar to remotion), HyGen's Hyperframes or Three.js if you need hardcore 3D visuals. GenMotion uses your existing ClaudeCode or Codex subscription. Why not just use Remotion or HyperFrames? Because a framework and a CLI tool both assume you'll write code and hope it looks right. I wanted to see the thing, notice the logo lands four frames late, and fix that one frame myself. That's a GUI job, not a framework job, and definitely not a headless one. The app gives you fine grained control over the element that's visible on the screen, simply click and prompt to change things. Most tools either generate a video for you or hand you a framework. This hands you working code, finished videos to fork, and an agent that already knows how they're built.
