I'm learning Swedish and English, and my phone had turned into a mess of tabs and bookmarks, like wiktionary, oxford, urban dict etc. You know when none of them explained the nuance, right? Same word, typed many times to different dictionary sites. So I built Puffins . You search once and flip between dictionaries for that word without typing it again. It ships with a lot of sources across dozens of languages, and if yours isn't there you can add any dictionary website yourself. Well I don't want to put too many words, so check it out yourself. It's free , with no ads or tracking SDKs. There's a Pro tier for the AI lookup since that costs me per request, as AI tokens are not cheap you know. Puffins is actually the companion app of Dictionariez , which is a browser extension that I've spent over a decade building, that lets you look up a word in whatever dictionary you trust, that works side by side with Anki - the greatest spaced memory app in the world....
