I keep Codex and Claude Code in separate windows. I built Agent HUD Open so I can see what each session is doing without switching back and forth. The video shows the notch HUD and its hover panel with active sessions, usage windows and reset times. It also surfaces pending tool approvals. I can inspect a command, file edit or MCP call and choose allow once or deny. If I ignore a request or close the HUD, the agent’s original permission flow takes over.
