Original Summary

Around 9 months ago me and my friend decided to create something when we were in final year. The problem statement was so simple “ re-writing tool that actually works for closed source detectors like Turnitin”. We were from AI background and made many automations and all. But actually to know how the closed source programs pattern work we need to reverse engineer something that is really not possible. After a month of research we got to the conclusion that there is no single way other than fine tuning a model on a large set of human written content and changing the perplexity of the fine tuned model frequently. We used SAAS but before that we never tried to create one. After a month finally we made the model and started using it by ourself. We just simply started using it via postman and later created a simple UI with no user registration. After we told this into our own college the students started using the platform and our system was abused as there were no rate limits and all. Finally we tied up with one guy who worked with SAAS app and build our tool with user db, payment walls and all. Later on again we realised we need to work on SEO and GEO. We worked on SEO and got organic users via search too but not that much. After around 3 months of SEO work finally we saw that our index was going a bit up and people were finally purchasing. We were paying for servers for months without great paying users but from last month we are now able to cover the server bills and I am happy finally. So what I want to say is SAAS is very difficult to do. You really need to be patient and wait. You should try everything that will make your product a bit visible.
