Disclosure: solo dev, this is mine. Dictation for Mac that runs on the machine. Hold a shortcut, talk, get clean text. I built it because Wispr Flow is a subscription and sends your dictation to their servers, and I didn't want either. No AI rewriting either right now, it just types what you said. Shipped in August. 2.0 went in for review this week and adds Whisper Large v3 and Turbo as optional engines. The bundled model stays the default, so there's still nothing to download unless you want it. Speed is good, accuracy is very good. You can correct words so it learns pronunciation after dictating, and you can set custom prefixes as needed.
