Over the past two months, I built an on-device translation app. I integrated on-device ASR (Whisper, Qwen), on-device translation models (Gemma), and Apple and Google Translate to create a fully offline translation app. It covers multiple languages, including some less common ones. After launching, I relied on organic traffic for a cold start. I’ve seen other apps get great organic traffic during their cold start, but mine isn’t doing well. I also tried Product Hunt and X, but the results were just average. I’d like to ask everyone: Is my app a fake need?
