Original Summary
I developed and published a small 1v1 robot arena game named Robo Mania and AI played a significant role during its development. The game began as a basic Unity prototype but gradually evolved into online multiplayer with Photon Fusion, private rooms, matchmaking, bot fallback, turrets, missiles, energy cells collection, skins, missions, coins, XP and mobile controls. AI helped me to code C# faster, debug, comprehend the errors and troubleshoot bugs between multiple scripts. I always decided how each system should function, tested everything by myself and had to know what exactly is broken. Most of the development was done in the following order: build -> test -> break -> inspect logs -> troubleshoot with the help of AI -> fix -> build -> repeat. And the most important thing I learned from this experience is that AI works much better when it receives small, specific tasks from me rather than requests like "fix the multiplayer". After numerous debugs, it became a real game which people can play. It would be great if you told me about your opinion of the game :) You can try it here https://www.crazygames.com/game/robo-mania-voy submitted by /u/IntelligentOne5923 [link] [comments]
