Original Summary
Hey all! My co-founder and I have been heads-down on this for a while, and it's the first time we're showing it outside our little circle, so be gentle (or don't, honest feedback is the point 😅). It started with a pretty boring problem: we needed lots of 3D scenes to train models on, and nothing out there gave us what we needed. The AI world generators look amazing but you can't actually edit what they make, and building scenes by hand took forever. So we built Graphyti. You type something like "snowy mountains" or "coastal city with a harbour", an LLM figures out the settings, and our own generators build the whole thing as real 3D models: terrain with rivers carved by erosion, road networks, buildings with proper windows and floors, even doors and drawers that actually open. The building at the end of the video took about 7 minutes. It's still rough around the edges: interiors are basic, most buildings aren't very detailed up close, and the lighting isn't photoreal yet. Curious what you'd make with it! If you want to try it when it opens up, the waitlist is here: https://forms.gle/em9VdQt398jbnsM38 submitted by /u/ExtensionPhoto7991 [link] [comments]
