I build solo and right now my stack is embarrassingly simple: Claude in the browser for writing, Codex in the terminal for code, and ChatGPT on my phone for the random stuff in between (name ideas at 1am, that kind of thing). The part that keeps biting me is context. I'll spend 20 minutes getting Claude up to speed on the product, switch to Codex to actually build the thing, and realize it knows none of it. So I start typing the same explanation again, badly, from memory. Half the time I forget a detail that mattered. I've been experimenting with just having each tool write me a handoff note before I switch (saw someone mention this in a thread and honestly it's the best thing I've tried so far). It works okay-ish. Still feels dumb. Anyway, curious how other solo people handle this. Do you just stick to one tool so you don't have to think about it? Keep everything in docs?
