Okay guys , so I am the owner of a Saas for building backlinks , in order to actually see if my target market is building backlinks or more importantly what the demand is like , I pulled a total of 170k product hunt submissions using the free ph api from august 2025 to august 2026 including both months , and removed url shortener , subdomains , whatsapp ,google drive , x links etc and was left with a total of 150k domains almost exactly 150k. Later using the free domain rating api from ahrefs , I enriched my database to see what kind of link building activity relatively new saas owners did.
