Every surf forecast I used gave me swell height, period, direction and wind for every hour of the week, and left me to work out which days were actually good. Looking a week ahead that way is hard, so I built one that just tells you, simply: Thursday morning is a 7, go. On top of the score, every hour gets stars for each skill level and each board, so a beginner on a foamie and someone on a shortboard can look at the same morning and see different answers. There's no AI in it. Every score comes with a plain explanation of why it's that number, so you can check it. Stuff that's on every beach page: hourly 0-10 score, plus how that day compares to the rest of the beach's year stars for 4 skill levels and 7 boards wave height, period, swell direction vs the way the beach faces wind and gusts, tide the week split into swell pulses so you can see the next good one coming a safety card (rips, cold water, lightning, UV, sunrise/sunset) a beach guide: what the place is like across the year and who it suits webcams where they exist There's a lot more you can find out about your beach on the site. It covers about 129k beaches pulled from OpenStreetMap, in 52 languages. No ads, no paywall, no signup (an account only saves favourites). Weather is from Open-Meteo, fetched straight from your browser. The part I'm least sure about is the scoring itself. I know it's about right, but I worry some beaches I didn't check might have slightly wrong scores.
