Hey everyone, I'm currently building a social media management and automation tool, and I've run into an architectural/onboarding dilemma that I'd love to discuss with other founders. Because my app relies heavily on AI content generation and third-party social media API integrations, each active user incurs immediate backend/token costs. To protect against API abuse and botting, I made the decision to block live social media account connections during the 7-day free trial tier. Users can still generate content and view the UI dashboard workflows, but they can't actually authenticate or post to their real networks until they upgrade. I’m worried this creates a massive drop-off in trial-to-paid conversion because users can't see the "final step" of the product
