I’m posting this—mainly because I want to help you owners and your dogs :) I recently released an Android app that analyzes data on air temperature, wind, and humidity to calculate the current temperature of the asphalt or sidewalk. The goal is to protect your dogs from paw burns, because what feels like 25° to us is about 50° under their paws 🥵 You enter information about your dog, and the app sets personalized temperature thresholds for you and lets you know when it’s safe to take your four-legged friend out for a walk 🐶 Plus, you get data on the current UV index and humidity levels, which also have a big impact on your dog’s panting!
