Hi r/SideProject — I’m building Chinese 101, a Chinese-learning app for short, regular practice. Each session moves from a character to an example sentence to a recall prompt. There’s a 3,500-character dictionary, contextual lessons, and audio and stroke guides where available. The Google Play closed test just opened. The Android preview is free, with all available Premium lessons unlocked, no ads, and no payment or Chinese 101 account. It is still a preview: 260 of the 702 bundled lessons have been corrected; the rest are drafts. Vietnamese currently has a smaller beginner library. I’m looking for adults (18+) on Android 8+ who would try it over two weeks and tell me what feels confusing, incomplete, or broken—especially the move from single characters into sentences.
