Original Summary
I run a pet sitting business with my wife, and I’ve spent about the past year building Sitterly, software for pet sitting and dog walking businesses. The focus is teams with roughly 3–15 sitters, helping them manage bookings, scheduling, and communication with clients. A lot of it comes from problems we’ve dealt with in our own business. It’s pre-revenue, and I’m working toward the first customers. There’s a product to demo, along with things that still need testing and improvement. My background is in running a pet care business, and I’ve built the product using AI coding tools. I’m looking for a co-founder with experience selling software to small businesses, ideally someone who’s helped an early product get its first customers. The work right now would be reaching out to owners, running demos, following up, and helping businesses get started. I’d continue driving the product and stay involved with customers. I want a partner who brings their own judgment and has a real say in where we take the business. There’s no salary available right now. This would be an equity based co-founder opportunity, with ownership, responsibilities, and time commitment discussed and agreed on before starting work together. I want to grow this over the next year, starting with the first 10 paying businesses. Send me a message with a little about your experience, what you’ve personally sold or helped grow, and your availability. We can start with a product walkthrough and a conversation. submitted by /u/CraftyUmpire3071 [link] [comments]
