Hey r/SideProject , Over the last few months, my social feeds have turned into an endless stream of low-effort AI-generated posts, spam accounts, and copy-paste threads. Muting accounts manually wasn't keeping up, so I decided to build a Chrome extension to handle it automatically. Right now, it filters out AI posts across: X (Twitter) Facebook Instagram It’s 100% free with no account required. I’m currently refining the detection logic to reduce false positives and planning to expand support to other platforms and general web browsing.
