Hi everyone, I’m an IT student at Brno University of Technology, and I’ve been building a small productivity project called p[Done] on my own. I’m still at the stage where I’m trying to figure out whether the core idea is actually useful enough to take further. Before I seriously think about finding someone to collaborate with, expanding the project, or treating it as something bigger, I’d much rather have real people try it and tell me what works and what doesn’t. The idea came from the way I’ve been organizing my own university assignments, programming projects, and side projects for more than half a year. Instead of treating a project as one long list of disconnected tasks, I visualize it as a path: Start → Step → Step → Step → Done If one step becomes too complicated, it can be opened and broken down into its own smaller path. I eventually turned this idea into a web app, but right now I’m much more interested in validating the concept than promoting it. I’d especially appreciate feedback from people here who have built projects, products, or startups themselves. If you had built something like this, what would you want to validate before considering bringing another person into the project? And more importantly, if a few people here have the time, I’d really appreciate it if you actually tried the app first and then told me whether the underlying idea makes sense at all. I’m mainly interested in hearing from other builders about whether the idea is worth developing further and whether you would approach the validation stage differently.
