I've been a Superhuman subscriber for a while, but they completely messed up the new release. So I took the opportunity to build one for myself. Introducing Attn I kept the parts of Superhuman I actually used every day Useful keyboard-driven triage and a Cmd/Ctrl+K command palette Split inboxes, including AI splits that use the new Typesafe Jev model Snippets, AI autocomplete, and AI reply drafts to speed up writing Follow-up reminders, shortcut hints, multiple account support, etc Attn is also local-first. Mails live in a local SQLite database and sync back to Gmail whenever you are online, without any server or telemetry. All AI features are optional and use your own API key. It runs on both Windows and Mac, with Gmail only for now. The README covers each step. Because the OAuth client is yours and Google hasn't reviewed it, Google shows an "unverified app" warning at sign-in. That's expected.
