Original Summary
I built Helors , a minimal colour workspace for creating and refining palettes. It started because I kept using palette generators to find colours, then leaving them to actually work with those colours somewhere else. So Helors lets you create a palette, build a 9-colour collection, adjust individual tones, rearrange colours, check contrast and export the result - including CSS variables and Tailwind for when you’re ready to actually use it. The part I’ve found surprisingly difficult is deciding what not to add. I want someone to be able to open Helors with no onboarding and understand it almost immediately. I’ve already removed quite a bit of explanatory UI because if the interface needs a paragraph telling you how to create a palette, I’ve probably designed it wrong. It’s still early, so I’d love some outside eyes on it. What feels missing - and, just as importantly, what would you not add? submitted by /u/adrmonlj [link] [comments]
