Original Summary
I asked my AI for a redesign the other day. It came back with something fairly heavy. I said it looked too complex, so it agreed and simplified it down to almost nothing. A few minutes later I brought back one piece of the original redesign. It agreed with that too.??. At that point I couldn't tell whether the second plan was genuinely better or whether it was just agreeing with whatever I'd said last. That's a useless tool for me. So I changed the rule. Now, before it makes a change, it has to tell me what could go wrong, argue a case for keeping the current version, and suggest an alternative if it disagrees. I still make the call. It's not perfect, but at least it stops rubber-stamping my last sentence. Anyone else's product agent just mirroring their latest messageinstead of pushing back? What instruction actually got yours to argue? submitted by /u/Individual_Big873 [link] [comments]
