Original Summary
You raise, you build, you grow, you exit. That's the startup script. We're trying to write a different one: our form builder, Tally , just reached $6M ARR, bootstrapped and purely product-led, with a team of 10 and over 2.5 million users. Six years ago I wouldn't have believed you if you told me this was possible. Yet here we are. I documented our journey since day one, so as the tradition goes, here's a summary of what happened since our last update: https://blog.tally.so/6-years-in-6-million-far/ TL;DR: 43% of new Tally users discover us through AI search (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & co). Despite the wild theories floating around online, this is a channel we don't fully control. Yes, we invest in AEO (and SEO): we track where LLMs mention and cite Tally, identify prompt gaps, audit our help center so the content stays accurate and helpful, and keep our comparison pages up to date. We listen to our users and to online conversations. But a model update could still reshuffle recommendations overnight. Which is exactly why we keep investing in the things that made Tally happen in the first place: the product, the free plan, and the community. This is the year building community stopped being a Slack channel. We're organizing meetups around the world together with Tally friends. By now, 30% of forms created with Tally are built with AI, and our MCP server keeps growing as a way to build and analyze forms with tools like Claude and ChatGPT. Happy to answer anything about our journey. submitted by /u/Marie-Tally [link] [comments]
