This is probably the smallest thing I've built recently, but also one of the things I use the most. I read a lot of English articles. Whenever I wanted a better translation than the browser's built-in translation, I'd select a paragraph, copy it, open ChatGPT, paste it, and give it basically the same prompt every time. Eventually I thought: why am I still doing this manually? So I made Translate with ChatGPT . Select some text → right click → Translate with ChatGPT. That's basically the entire product. I originally built it just for myself, but it ended up being useful enough that I published it on the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/translate-with-chatgpt/olppcinmdpimiifooendfhlobnchphjd Free, no SaaS, no subscription.
