Hey everyone, I’m Rex, one of the two people behind Tube PiP. One of us handles development, and the other handles product design and keeping things running. We started it because we watch a lot of YouTube ourselves. We wanted to keep a video playing while using another app, listen with the screen locked, and watch without ads. Paying for YouTube Premium felt expensive for those everyday needs, so we built something we wanted to use. Tube PiP is available on iPhone and iPad. The free version includes: Ad-free YouTube playback Picture-in-picture Background and lock-screen audio A sleep timer History and favorites Those features stay free, with no trial countdown or usage limit. There’s an optional Pro subscription for additional features. One small feature I wanted to mention is the sleep timer: if you listen to videos before bed, you can set playback to stop instead of leaving it running all night.
