I'm not a developer. I started building software because AI made it possible for someone like me to turn an idea into something that actually works. And the more I build, the more I realize that building might actually be the easy part now. With Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, etc., you can get surprisingly far without having a traditional development background.But then you deploy it. Real users arrive. Something breaks. A deployment fails. The app gets slower. A dependency causes an issue. You get an error you've never seen before.And that's where things get complicated. AI helped you build the product, but now you're suddenly dealing with production, infrastructure, monitoring, security, databases, deployments... basically a completely different set of problems. So I'm curious about people here who built most of their SaaS with AI: What happened after you launched? Do you keep going back to AI every time something breaks? Did you eventually learn enough DevOps to handle it yourself? Did you hire someone? Or has maintenance actually been less of a problem than I'm imagining? I'm asking because this is the part I'm running into myself.AI has made building software incredibly accessible. I'm not sure we've made keeping that software running nearly as accessible yet.
