So I just read this beautiful article on X by TIm Denning: https://x.com/Tim_Denning/status/2101263475909775641 which talks about how pattern recognition can really help you be successful in life and in general too I have been in building products from long time One of the best things that help you when going in unknown domain is: Agency - doing everything you feel is good for you without waiting on anybody or anything. Basically not waiting for permission to do things. Empathy - indirectly is about, knowing when things go wrong, changing your current belief system, and learning from mistakes and actually executing them next time you do something so, combining this, i built many products, where i first was trying make it big, found co-founder, built half product, but had a quarrel with co-founder and left. built something solo, focused on wrong things, spent money on marketing and product without actually seeing if it's actual problem next time, had right problem, right co-founder but not right exposure to people facing problem, less time spent in gtm now, after learning all the mistakes, i am doing all of it, spending time with gtm, spending less time building and talking to actual users, and built a good waitlist of 12 users in span of 3 days and are people with problem we are solving for, can check out at: tootler(.)ai and after having spend this much time in product building, i noticed that there is one kind of products that are always making money is, lead generation or lead finding because with AI people are building more than ever, and when built you need something to get in front of users, right? and so, demand for gtm, ot gtm related tools has increased and reddit is the goldmine for it, so all the products which are with decent working of finding leads off reddit, and with decent exposure to reddit are making money. just a observation, and something to discuss, of what are your observations, possible that someone might have better angle to what i have observed.   submitted by   /u/ArrogantJeet [link]   [comments]
