Original Summary

Twelve days ago I posted the launch. About 2,000 views, the score stayed at 0, and there were 7 comments. One thread was worth answering. The comment was that a simulator gets people in and then they leave, because a retirement question only shows up when something in your life puts it there. A vest, a market move, a month of spending. If all you shipped is a cone, month three looks like churn. That matched what I was seeing. The 5-day trial asks for a card, and a lot of people never get past it. The ones still opening it a week later had their holdings in the app, either by a read-only brokerage link or by typing them. Prices move. A grant lands. The mix shifts. Then they have a reason to open a what-if: retire later, spend less, change the mix. Two changes since that thread. The morning note is now on the dashboard, not only in the email. It says what your holdings did. It does not tell you what to change. The commenter said that once a solo founder starts recommending the fix, they are holding financial advice. I agree. The note is there so the question shows up. The what-if is something you open yourself. You can also type the holdings. Stocks, metals, crypto. You update them when you buy or sell, and you enter the trade prices. A read-only brokerage link skips that. Bank balances are still typed in while I change providers. Real estate and alternatives are not in the daily note. The trial is 5 days: https://killionlabs.com/signup/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=sideproject&utm_campaign=sep22-followup If you have a tool people use once, what actually brought them back the second week? I am more interested in that than in another roast of the landing page. submitted by /u/Dry-Firefighter-4103 [link] [comments]
