Original Summary
a few weeks ago, I was seriously considering moving on from this saas I had one customer paying $49/month, and they barely used the product and my monthly expenses looked like this: $200 on Google Ads $50 on AI $40 on scraping tools $25 on hosting a few other smaller expenses I was spending more than $315 every month to make $49 because I have a full-time job, I could afford to continue. but that almost made the decision harder there was no natural point forcing me to stop, so I couldn’t tell whether I was giving the product enough time or simply funding something the market didn’t want I kept making small changes, tightened the onboarding, added a harder paywall, and continued working on organic acquisition a few weeks later, my product reached 10 active subscriptions and $430 MRR!! trustmrr proof if you ask me what did I do to make this growth, it was basically to show up everyday and keep running the acquisition channels I was doing before, that's pretty much it it’s the first time the recurring revenue has covered the monthly tools and acquisition costs I’m not pretending it’s truly profitable yet. That number doesn’t include payment fees, taxes, or the hundreds of hours I’ve spent building it submitted by /u/Strong_Teaching8548 [link] [comments]
