Original Summary

I made QParty to solve a problem I keep running into: I discover a multiplayer game I want to try, but my friends don’t play it, or aren’t online. Some games have no useful way to find a group, and posting in communities and waiting for replies feels like too much work when I just want to play. QParty is a web app with two ways to meet players: - Play now: pick a game, party size and language, then queue as someone organizing a party, joining one, or happy to do either. When a group is found, everyone accepts and enters a lobby to chat and exchange their game or Discord details. - Play later: browse player profiles, swipe on people who share your games and interests, and connect if the interest is mutual. You can then chat and arrange a session whenever you’re both free. It doesn’t launch games or replace Discord, it’s meant to remove the awkward steps before you find the right people. I’d love honest feedback from multiplayer gamers, especially on the first-use experience: is it clear what to do, would you use the live queue, and does Discover feel useful for finding people to play with later? Try it here: https://qparty.vercel.app/ . Please tell me what confused you or broke, not just whether you liked the design. submitted by /u/SatisfactionPrudent [link] [comments]
