Hey everyone, I wanted to share about my dog app, Zoomie, running on iPhone Duo. The big inside screen exposed a problem: some things adapted on their own, but most of the app just looked stretched out. Since then, I've been redesigning it to take advantage of the extra space. The app now adjusts its layout depending on whether the phone is fully open, partly folded, or closed. My favorite part is the walking screen. When the phone is half-folded, like a tiny laptop, your dog's walk info shows up on one half, and the controls sit on the other. I got the idea from the Netflix demo at the launch event, where the video plays on the top half, and the controls sit below. Still early, but it's already feeling a lot better.
