Hey guys, more updates on my project https://www.stratdeck.uk/ - a website that allows you to find new stocks or make a decision on a stock you have heard about within 15 minutes. The last week or two I feel like I've truly moved from vibe coder to a product manager, and it's something I feel like all us 'builder-first' could benefit from. I think due to our ability to generate code, prototypes, etc we end up doing everything. For me when I decided to try morph my app into something other people could use, I realised I basically just slapped all my ideas on a page and just went with it because I knew what was important or not. Now I look back at it and think wow what a mess that was 😂 Still loads of improvements to do but anyone that viewed it when I first posted will hopefully see some big changes / real product direction! I'm sure ill get pulled back into builder mode again soon but just a good reminder to post for myself and anyone else who has led with code too much recently ps. I've found Claude design to be really good at looking at my web pages, saying 'this is bad because of xyz', and proposing improvements.
