Hey everyone, I‘m Finn, a 20 year old Software Engineer and Solopreneur. Quick origin story plus would love feedback from people who've been through the "is this even a product" phase. The problem: During my last two years of Abitur (German university-entrance exams), I was completely overwhelmed trying to plan study time across multiple subjects at once. It wasn't that I didn't know the material, it was that I had zero system for managing time and method. Cramming one subject meant neglecting three others. I tried planners, spreadsheets, generic productivity apps, none of them were built for how school actually works (multiple subjects, exams stacked on top of each other, no consistent structure). What I built: Nylo, not a tutoring app, more of a "Lernbegleiter" (learning companion). The idea is to help pupils learn how to learn, rather than teach them content directly: • Onboarding analysis of the pupil's current learning strategies/habits • A learning-method coach (Pomodoro, spaced repetition, mind maps, actual evidence-based methods, not just a to-do list) • An AI-generated daily learning plan, which is adapted around your fixed schedule There's a premium subscription for parents, with a light version to try it out first, plus school licences where the school buys license codes.
