Original Summary

Since I stay on video calls with my long-distance girlfriend through most of the day, and spend the rest of the day on work calls, I desperately needed to stop MacOS audio ducking. But then I came across the other big issue. Airpod microphones have horrible quality when compared to the inbuilt Macbook microphones. But since MacOS switches to Airpod mics the moment they are connected, I had to look for a solution to that as well.
