Original Summary
I'm developing iOS apps since 2013, so maintaining many apps with subscriptions and in-app purchases, and one thing I kept running into was Apple's refund flow. When someone asks Apple for a refund, Apple can send the developer a CONSUMPTION_REQUEST . You can respond with information about the transaction before Apple makes its decision. It's useful, but it also means building another webhook flow, working with App Store Server API, handling signed transactions, retries and refund notifications. And then maintaining it. So instead of doing the same thing for every app, I turned it into Refoid . Connect an App Store Server API key, configure the webhook and it handles the refund requests from there. Nothing goes into the app itself. Today I'm putting it out publicly: https://refoid.app And launching it on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/refoid-decline-unreasonable-refunds I'll appreciate your support and upvotes. Now comes the harder part - finding out whether other developers dislike maintaining this stuff as much as I do. submitted by /u/vladislav_k22 [link] [comments]
