I'm a software developer looking for a real problem to solve — not another random AI wrapper or a solution looking for a problem. So instead of asking: “What SaaS should I build?” I'd rather ask business owners, founders, freelancers and people working inside companies: What is something you regularly have to do at work that makes you think, “There has to be a better way to do this”? I'm especially interested in the boring problems nobody talks about. For example: Something you still manage with Excel / Google Sheets because existing software sucks. A repetitive task you do manually every week or month. Data you constantly copy between two different systems. Reports you have to manually prepare. Something involving PDFs, emails, documents or spreadsheets that wastes your time. A tool you're currently paying for that feels ridiculously expensive for what it does. A process where you use 3–4 different tools when you wish one simple tool existed. Something your employees constantly forget to do. A compliance / administrative task you hate dealing with. Something specific to your industry where the available software feels outdated. A small problem that isn't painful enough to hire someone for, but annoying enough that you'd happily pay $20–$200/month to make it disappear. I'm not looking for startup ideas. I'm looking for problems. If you could magically remove ONE repetitive, annoying or unnecessarily complicated task from your business tomorrow, what would it be? And if you're comfortable sharing: 1. What industry are you in? 2. What's the annoying task/problem? 3. How do you handle it today? 4. What tools do you currently use? 5. Would you actually pay for a solution, or is it just mildly annoying? The more boring and specific the problem, the better.
