Original Summary

I've grown an Instagram account to around 430K followers, but recently I started trying to turn that audience into something beyond views and likes. One thing I'm realizing fast: having an audience doesn't automatically mean having customers. Someone can enjoy your content for years and still have no reason to buy anything from you. It's making me think much more about the difference between building attention and building something people actually want to pay for. Anyone else learned this the hard way? submitted by /u/wonderday_maker [link] [comments]
