For the past few weeks I’ve been building Evopien, an AI companion project that I eventually want to give a physical humanoid body. I finally reached the point where I felt comfortable showing the whole thing running instead of just individual pieces. Right now it can talk with me naturally, listen while it is speaking, handle interruptions, use English and Spanish, continuously see through a camera, answer questions about what I’m doing or what happened recently, search for current information, and maintain context during the conversation. It all runs around an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor. But the part I care about most is actually not the LLM. A lot of AI products are essentially the model plus some tools and memory around it.
